Orange sorbet recipe

Mix the freshly squeezed orange juice with the cooled sugar solution.
Add a tablespoon of orange liqueur to taste. This step is optional, but gives the sorbet an additional aromatic note.
Freeze:
Pour the orange sorbet base into a flat, freezer form.
Cover the shape with film and put it in the freezer.
Let the mixture freeze for about 2 hours until the edges are fixed.
Stir:
Take the shape out of the freezer and stir the mixture with a fork. Break off all ice crystals.
Place the shape again in the freezer and let the sorbet freeze for another 2 hours.
Complete:
Repeat the stirring process every 2 hours to achieve a creamy consistency.
After about 6 hours, the orange sorbet should have reached the desired consistency.
Serve:
Spoon the orange sorbet in desserts or glasses.
Garnish it with fresh mint or orange slices as you like.
Bon appetit!
